Cory first gained experience with U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, the Adirondack Council, and United University Professionals. Cory has lobbied on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, professional associations, and not-for-profit corporations. In addition to lobbying, Cory has crafted bill language, developed legislative strategy, and contributed to the Patrick B. Jenkins and Associates Safety First electronic newsletter.  

Cory Loomis has been instrumental in passing legislation relating to authorizing licensed pharmacists to administer the approved vaccine for COVID-19, the registration of Pharmacy Technicians, the licensure of Occupational Therapy Assistants, the statewide breakfast before the bell program, shaping the ConnectAll Broadband program, protections for injured workers, and disclosure requirements for online lending platforms.  

Cory received his Master of Public Administration at the Rockefeller School of Public Affairs & Policy and received a B.A. in Political Science at SUNY Fredonia. In 2017 Cory was named one of City and State’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars in Government.
